☕ My Go To Coffee Shops in Winter Garden
My Go To Coffee Shops in Winter Garden
I had my spots in Naperville. Regular meetups. Places where the barista knew my order. Moving to Winter Garden meant finding new ones.
Good coffee matters. But what matters more is the connection that happens around it. The conversations. The community. The places that become part of your routine. Here's where I've landed.
Downtown Plant Street
Axum Coffee (146 W Plant Street)
This is my weekday work spot. Sit outside. Watch the West Orange Trail bikers stop for a breather. Their camaraderie is contagious. Saturday mornings I grab a cold brew here before walking the Winter Garden Farmers Market. It's the community connector spot. You feel it when you're there.
Rosallie Le French Café (141 W Plant Street)
Where I bring out of town guests. The French pastries are incredible. The decor matches, especially during holidays. Get the Nord sandwich. Trust me. Seats here are coveted during Winter Garden parades because the parade goes right past you. This is the type of place where stress just disappears. You sit. You enjoy. You're not rushing anywhere.
Piccolo Coffee Co. (18 N Boyd Street)
Right off Plant Street. Local feel. I went with the Florida Honey latte (I'm typically a cold brew person) and it became my go-to there. So good.
Foxtail Coffee (276 W Plant Street downtown, 15516 W Colonial Drive for drive-thru)
Need a Starbucks alternative? This is it. Another cold brew option for my Saturday farmers market routine. Great setup for the semi-business, semi-casual meeting.
Way Chocolate & Coffee (50 W Plant Street)
My after dinner evening connection spot. They have chill couches at the front to hang out in. Get the affogato. Must order.
West Colonial & Hamlin
Deeply (Colonial Drive)
Grab and go traffic. Quick work sessions. Fast meetups. I'm an oatmeal cookie connoisseur. Get one here. Must have item. The mood is upbeat and energizing. You feel it the moment you walk in.
The French Café (16418 New Independence Parkway, Hamlin Town Center)
Amazing French pastries. Solid breakfast whether you go French toast or breakfast sandwich. The gingerbread latte is superb. Presentation matters here with every coffee and plated dish. Fun spot to meet friends. Plenty of outdoor seating.
Spots I Haven't Hit Yet (But Are on My List)
Filigree Coffee (16016 New Independence Parkway, Hamlin)
Boutique coffee shop in Hamlin Town Center. Carefully sourced beans. On my list.
Three Birds Café (2 W Plant Street)
Modern brunch and coffee spot on Plant Street. Locals love it. Need to get there.
Why This Matters
Coffee shops tell you about a neighborhood. Quality over chains. Walkable downtown. Places where locals actually gather. The cup in your hand becomes a conversation piece. I found my new spots in Winter Garden. You will too.
